Nearly 100 years ago William Eisenberg brought this sign from the Dehen knitting shop in Trier, Germany with him to the U.S. (changing his name from Eisenberg to Dehen to avoid anti-German sentiment along the way.) This batch of 1920 sweaters is the first delivery of Dehen product to be shipped back to market in William’s native country.
